malacca is known for its nyonya food, but not everywhere has authentic food of acceptable standards. the good news is, we know where to go and so im recommending this place to you! :D try it! It's good :) just that as with some good places, the service is sometimes a little iffy.  this place was really quite amusing. it was supposed to open at 6pm and there was really absolutely to sign of anyone around in the restaurant until maybe 5.50pm? we saw them change the sign from 'closed' to 'open' and at around 5.58pm when we tried to go into the restaurant, the waitress guardin the door barked at us and told us to come back at 6pm -.- lol, honestly?! i wonder what difference two minutes made. they weren't even doing anything! But anyway, besides that, the service wasnt that bad i guess.

the telur chincaluk (RM 7) was fluffy and crispy, with a subtle taste of the fermented shrimps. it was pretty good, but i would have preferred a stronger flavour of the shrimps which would have added a kick to this potentially awesome dish.

probably the largest otak (RM 10.50) you have ever seen! don't think you can find such a generously-portioned piece in singapore. chunky and succulent, this otak was mouth-watering, left me wanting more after each bite.

oh dearrr, it's been so long ago that i came to this place that i can't remember what were the other dishes i ate >.< but! their chendol is absolutely unforgettable xD this was pretty much the reason why we even came back here. the last time we were here, we already had dinner and were so full that the only thing we could stomach was a little bit of chendol. and gosh, we couldnt have enough of it!!! i really can't recall what was so wonderful about it (oooops :P it was just really long ago) but trust my instincts on this! :)
